Better Than The Movies (BTTM) was by far my favourite music video to film.

I remember my Dad walking into my room at like 9 pm saying ‘I have an idea for a music video for BTTM’, he wanted to recreate some of the most iconic rom coms, and I immediately said ‘as long as we can include 10 things I hate about you’…

This conversation lead to the whole music video being themed around my all time favourite movie (excluding pride and prejudice 2005, iykyk).

I spent so long, and I mean DAYS, researching to find the closest possible outfits to the ones Kat Stratford wore in the movie, from the hair accessories, down to the shoes. I also tried to recreate her jewellery. Not to mention the fact we even found the throw blanket on her bed. I’d say the time I spent doing this was totally worth it because I think the end result was pretty cool : )

I also want to give a quick shout out to my favourite music store, Musos Corner, and the Newcastle City Hall for letting us film in their beautiful locations for this music video.
